Description: Vintage University of Chicago Stoneware Brown & Tan 1.5 Cup Whisky Jug. Five inches 5" tall. Condition is Used. Shipped with USPS Ground Advantage. We tested it with water, and it holds 1.50 cups of water. No cork. History: I attended the University of Chicago and graduated in 1986. Just after graduation I saw this and bought it in a flea market. It looked old then, too. I cannot read the bottom of the jug. I really liked this since I was an alumni, and I used to keep it on my desk at work. It is shiny, and the finish on the tan part shows many cracks under the finish, although the jug itself isn't cracked, just the 'aged' finish. Now I work from home and my desk is too crowded.
