Description: A nice addition to a liquor bottle collection is this vintage square frosted glass W & A Gilbey gin bottle. The bottle is embossed and comes with the original metal turn cap, which has Gilbey 's name on it. Brothers Walter and Alfred Gilbey began distilling gin in 1872 in London, England. The current headquarters are in Harlow, in the county of Essex in the East of England region where the distillery is. The condition is very nice. There are no cracks in the glass, and no chips. It has been hand washed, but it may need a bit more detailing. The bottle stands at 9" tall. All four sides are 3" wide and have rounded edges. Embossed in block letters in an arch shape just below the bottle's shoulder on one side is "FEDERAL LAW FORBIDS SALE OR RE-USE OF THIS BOTTLE". Just below it is "W & A Gilbey LTD." written in cursive at a diagonal slant. Below that, also in cursive but horizontal, is "gin". On three sides of the bottle the glass is frosted. The bottle's face, neck and base are not. Overall, a very nice bottle! Paypal payment must be made within 2 business days. I ship within 2 business days after payment confirmation. Thank You!
