Maybe a toolmaker's vise?Wilton number is 1125-9 as far as I can research.Made in Schiller Park, Illinois. This one is Chrome Plated, only one like this I have seen.Jaws are 2 1/4 Inches Wide.Dynanic Jaw slide is Dovetailed.Works just as smoothly s it should. The Base is in original Black paint.Wilton number is 344-1The lock bolt was snapped off so I drilled it and removed it. the hex bolt is of course not original.The thread is 1/4-20 SAE so you can put whatever you want in that spot. NO Breaks, Cracks, Warping Abuse or damage. Chrome Plating is starting to peel Vintage used working condition, see the detailed images please.
