Description: According to an article in May of 1999 from the Los Angeles Times, Howard and Phils Western Wear closed down their stores which ranged from Southern California to Nevada and Utah. It was founded in 1962 by Politician, Howard P. (Buck) McKeon's parents, making these shoe stretchers a unique little piece of history. I have no way of knowing how old this set is, only that it is from the 90's or earlier. This set has a few flaws so please examine pictures closely before purchase for those details and measurements. I bought this set among others of different brands at an estate sale, with an artistic idea for using them, but upon seeing this set more closely and reading about the store, I decided to put them up for sale for someone who may collect Western Wear memorabilia.
