Description: Rudolph the red nosed… Soldier? Well that sounds rather rude, if you ask me. Here is a unique one! A genuine WW2 locket with the engraving “Johanna Love, Rudolph” lovingly carved upon its back. There is a photo of Mr.Rudolph himself on the inside, and a bright white shell heart proudly sits on the front of the locket. Now, Johanna must’ve really cherished this token of affection for many years. The gold plating on the locket has been worn away from years of wear and touch. The silver underneath has now come to show its face. I’m sure it could be polished to shine as silver should, but I just love the dark patina. Plus, it shows how worn and truly enjoyed the locket was. The locket is about an inch wide and an inch long. It does not have a chain. I am 90% sure it is silver plated with gold. The photo is original as well. The shell on the front of the locket is firmly in place and has no wobble. Everything opens and closes as it should. Let me know if you have any questions.
