Description: This radio is so nice looking I've kept it in my collection for over 25 years thinking I'd get around to restoring it some day, but lately I have far too many projects and this one is just never going to be a big priority for me, so it's time to put it out there and find a home where it will get the attention it deserves. While not in perfect mint condition, this unit is almost entirely complete, with the one notable missing part being the bezel or lens over the radio dial. Beyond that, all the latch and hinge hardware is complete and functional. The tweed case is in pretty good shape as is the leather handle. The chassis is complete with all tubes present. The radio dial and on/off/volume knob move freely. The insulation on the power cord as well as that on the wires of the remote battery connector is cracked so those conductors will need to be replaced. Obviously it's going to be due for capacitor replacements as well but all the caps look like standard values and fairly easy to service. This should be a pretty easy restoration for anybody with a basic understanding of soldering procedures. Reproduction hard copy of original schematic included.
