We have a booster coil inside the antenna, which now ALL our bullet antennas have, and we now have this telescopic antenna to further improve on that. This antenna also comes with the patent pending anti-theft spanner wrench, so that you can tighten it down hard enough so that it can not be removed with bare hands. When tightened down you can remove it with pliers or something of the sort, but it will damage the antenna rendering it worthless. This has resolved the theft issue with these antennas, without having to resort to Locktite, which after you put your antenna on, you had to damage it with pliers to remove it.
