Description: Offered here his a vintage 18.5" butcher's sharpening steel/knife sharpener by Dexter Russell. Made in Southbridge, Massachusetts. Features a solid wood handle. Dimensions: Total length is 18.5", with a 5/8" diameter barrel Condition: Overall excellent condition for age. No cracks or nicks as far as I can tell, just some very light use wear. There is some minor oxidation/discoloration on the guard. I've tested this on a couple of my high end chef knives and it works really, really well. So well I almost kept it for myself, in fact.
