Description: This listing is for a fun, vintage, 1960's unused package of Hammond stickers. They were called "gummed seals" in the 1960's, as scotch tape hadn't really come into big use, and "seals" were used to hold wrapping paper together. Now, they are known as "stickers", because, of course, we stick them everywhere! The package is opened, but still contains all 50 pieces. They were sold through "Hackman's" a Bible Book Store. Hackman's was a landmark store, opening in 1947, and closing 70 years later. I tried to research Hammond Publishing, but I couldn't find any information. I have to assume they are no longer in business. I know they made several types of religious themed stickers, as well as some patriotic ones.
