Description: A truly "one of a kind item". I picked this up at a local New England estate sale. The previous owner said it was made by her father in 1988 who was a wood worker. The detail on this is amazing. From the brass nails down to the moving parts hours of love and labor went into this sleigh. Sleigh measures 21" long, 9" wide, and 6 1/2" tall to top of Sleigh seat. It has moving parts, the side bin opens and close, the front sleigh treads turn, the brake levers activates the rear brake mechanism. This would make a wonderful piece to decorate and display for the holidays. A conversation piece for sure!
