Bag is stiff material but does bend, it is not super structured nor packable, I will leave packing paper in bag during storage and when shipping to help it retain its shape. Inside bottom of bag has rectangular flap (not removable but is only attached on one side. It helps retain its shape adds support to bottom of bag but can be lifted to one side if bag is stored in small spot and needs to be compressed when empty. All seams intact - this item was well put together / well-made. Virtually no scuffs to outside tube-like trim.
