Description: Here is a vintage two-piece blown-glass Christmas ornament of Santa Claus hanging from a parachute. It measures 7-1/2 inches tall and is in very good condition, with no chips or cracks. It's unusual in that the entire parachute is made of glass: the others I've seen are a glass upper half with ribbons attaching it. The parachute has a plastic cap marked West Germany, Ges.
