Description: Vtg Bronze Nautical Salvage Channel Marker Lantern Maritime Red Signal Beacon Overall nice condition for its age Globe has two small "chunks" missing - see last photo. Otherwise looks to be in great condition. Metal is bronze or brass (non-magnetic) except for the bolt shafts which are iron/steel (magnetic). Measures approx. 8"H and weighs nearly 10lbs (it is very heavy!). Last photo shows it with a flashlight shining behind it. Unit is untested and likely to need restoration if you plan to get it working again. Was found in the estate of a former military salvage diver from the Boston, MA. area.
