Measures approximately 12 1/2" by 9 1/8" by 1/2' thick. Rich and plentiful color illustrations, 72 pages. I consider both books to be in good to very good overall vintage/pre-owned condition with the following noted flaws: Both dust jackets show wear along the edges and at the corners including creasing, mild rubbing, chipping and small tears. "Brother Eagle" has a very small and minor puncture/indentation at the bottom corner of the rear board; minor scuffing to the green boards and blue cloth reinforcement. The spine creaks upon opening but appears to be secure and fully intact. The glossy illustrated (same as dust jacket) cover boards of "Black Beauty" appear to be in excellent condition. The pages of both books appear to be clean and free from damage. The dust jackets have been fitted with new clear mylar dust jacket protectors which are not permanently affixed and can be easily removed if desired.
