It is not glass per our gem tester but it may be black Jade. I am going with Onyx*** Beautiful classic necklace by IWI, Imperial World Inc., made with faceted onyx cube, pearls, 14KT gold and glass beads. It is finished with a 14K gold pearl clasp. The Onyx beads are unusual and very cool. The are rounded corner cubes drilled through the long way so that they hang on the diagonal. Great design visually pleasing piece. Has been in storage for two decades. Weighs shy of 4 ounces. Original retail in the 1980s would have been $400-500.
