Description: ** ** ** ** *** ** **For your consideration, I am listing some of my mother's Nancy Ann dolls.I have chosen the best ones from her collection to list. I am not an NASB collector, thus all I can do is describe her dolls to you, best I can. Some dolls did indeed have notes attached, but not all. Therefore, please ask me any questions before buying. .DESCRIPTON:.According to my mother's notes, this doll can be seen on page 297, of the book called “Nancy Ann Storybook Dolls Id Guide 1936-1947”, by Elaine M. Pardee and Jackie Robertson (Schroeder Publishing Company, ISBN # 1-57432-307-5). .Please look at all the photos. There are many close-ups of this doll's features..Vintage, NASB doll, approximately 6 inches tall. Made of heavy Bisque with movable painted plastic arms. By Nancy Ann NASB Storybook Dolls, called “Bloomer Girl” #312. From the “Operetta Series”. Circa 1940's. *SEE LAST photo, since it shows the original price sticker, still attached on the doll's slip that says: T-2, STEWART'S Inc., Louisville, $2.75. {According to my research, STEWART's was a regional department store founded in 1907,based in Louisville Kentucky}.*The DOLL= Bloomer Girl has frozen legs and a frozen head with moveable arms. Her facial painting is nicely done with vibrant coloring. Her hairstyle is brown, wavy, and curly, and parted to the side. Soft and luxurious..Her long gown is made of shiny TAFFETA in a PLAID (red and creamy white) pattern, and it has a lace trim. The gown has an attached muslin slip. The gown is in very good condition. No stains. No strange odors. I could not read her back's marking and did not want to take the dress off to check down her back, for fear of ruining the gown. But she does look like a real NASB from the Operetta Series. See photos..She has on red TAFFETA pantaloons (or BLOOMERS) with a lace trim on the bottom. Her feet have painted black slippers. She is holding a matching TAFFETA red umbrella with a lace trim also, and a red satin bow on the bottom. .Her HAT= ......NOTE: Bloomer Girl has on a Red and White lace trimmed hat. But the lace looks different from the lace on the dress. Therefore, I'm not sure if the hat goes with this outfit or not. Looks great on the doll, but you decide if it's her hat. (SEE PHOTOS) ..She is overall in very good condition. No Strange odors. This doll was kept in a climate controlled environment, and also, she's from a non-smoking home..She comes with NO BOX.NO Stand.NO Foil Hand-Tag.~~~~~~~~~Thank you for stopping by. ....Bk4
