Description: A stunning, rare set of 6 beautifully designed by hand dessert plates with a footed tray by Villeroy & Boch Schamberg. Circa is 1883-1912 based on the makers mark of a circle with V&B over S (impressed). Many of the makers marks are faded from age. Colors have not faded and are beautifully vibrant. Each in a goldenrod glaze with a Greek key pattern on the edging, and adorned with pink flowers and green foliage. Colors are vivid. One issue with one dessert plate-very small, superficial chip at bottom of one plate shown in the very last picture. Some very small imperfections to backs of some pieces that are common during the making of these type of Majolica plate-ware; see last 6 pictures.
