It was made at the Reijmyre Kristall Glassworks located in Sweden. The company was founded in 1810 and is still operating today. It is a nice example of their work. Please see our other eBay listings for other glass animals. The polar bear is in good used condition with no chips, cracks or discolorations. It has some light marks in the satin part from being next to other things over the years. Satin finish is bad for getting marks in it. As with all handmade glass there might be some normal air bubbles and swirls in the glass that occur during the production process. We are a nonsmoking home/shop and there are no odors on this piece.
