Description: I just wanted to say that the sails in this kit are superb! They are not the typical (cheap) white plastic ones that come in newer kits. These sails actually look and feel real (a soft, textured material) with a true-to-life- billowing appearance (the sails are optional - you can build the kit without the sails like it moored at its dock). The kit itself is new with parts still in sealed bags but the box has been opened and not shrink-wrapped (not sure if they even shrink-wrapped kits in 1979. It comes with 2 types of rigging thread, a flag sheet, decals and instructions.
