Description: Vtg True Temper Kelly Perfect #3 Phantom Bevel Double Bit Axe W/ Orig Handle USA Offered is a vintage True Temper Kelly Perfect double bit axe. It is clearly stamped “TRUE TEMPER KELLY PERFECT” as well as the number “3” which I assume is for 3 lbs. it weighs 4-1/2 lbs including the handle. The handle is indeed the original handle. The logo is faint but it is there on the handle. You can see that indented logo in the wood under good lighting, however the paint has worn off of it. 36” long from end to end. If you do prefer, I can cut the handle off to save a large amount on shipping costs. The axe is in great condition, it doesn’t appear to have been used or abused much. It is very clean. Small amount of patina and discoloration. Phantom bevels. A few minor nicks in the cutting edges but nothing major. Wood handle is in great shape. Overall a very nice example.
