Description: Vtg VIKING 6-Petal Persimmon Orange / Amberina Covered Candy Dish, 8 in, GLOWS This lovely persimmon (bright orange with some yellow hues) Viking Art Glass Epic Six Petal line pattern 8" tall covered Mint (candy) jar is in excellent condition with no chips, nicks, cracks, noticeable scratching or any other type of damage. Like most glass of this period there are a few tiny suspended bubbles that you'll find only on close examination but nothing to affect the beauty & richness of the glass. It measures approximately 8" tall to the top of the lid's knob and 4 3/8" wide at the top rim of the jar. The base is noticeably more amber yellow and measures 2 5/16" across. The persimmon orange glass was made using cadmium and glows under black light beautifully. Great find.
