Description: This is an original Tuareg or Fulani tribal hat. The hat is shaped like a cone and is hand made. It has leather tosslling on top and as accents all over the hat. The hat is hand woven beautifully and then strips of leather are hand sewn into the fiber. There is a long chin strap and the hat is bent on one side. I think it could be steamed and repaired easily but I have not done that. Or maybe just put something inside to hold it open will work . The hat measures 14 1/2" from one side of the brim straight through to the other side. It is extremely well made.
