Vtg Wood Copper Vignette Display Lot Burnished Vases Finger Oil Lantern Book End

Description: This listing is made up of a mixed lot of wood pieces and copy lantern that look quite nice together. The pieces are most likely from the 1930s - 1970s. Add your own splash of color or use the group by itself. Details of the individual pieces: Heavy, 20 oz. wood book end measures about 5” x 7” x 4-3/4” tall. The cork bottom has a little water stain, but smooth so won’t scratch the shelve it is on. There is glue residue on the folded seam that would be used to prop up books. The 2 wood vases could hold silk flowers if desired and are in very nice condition. The burnished details are quite nice, especially on the taller vase. There is NO glass inserts for water. The taller vase is 2-1/4” outermost diameter x 6-1/2” tall. It weighs 5-1/2 oz. The smaller vase with handles has a 2-1/4” outermost diameter x 4” tall and weighs 1-1/2” oz. The made in Hong Kong finger lantern measures 4-1/4” x 1-1/4” tall and weighs about 4-1/2 oz. It can be used as a display piece on a table top of with the base turned to hang it on a wall as a sconce. The base has aging patina. It sits squarely on a table top, but the kerosene holder wobbles on the base some so I would suggest not to use it as a lantern. The wick handle turns easily to raise and lower the wick. The glass globe is in nice condition and fits snuggly into the prongs around the wick center. All items will be carefully packaged for shipment.
