Some kind there is a second board it would make it easy to mount with free drilled screw holes. If you didn’t want the extra thickness at the top it’s 7/8 of an inch thick without that at the top with the extra board is is 2 1/8 inches like I said you could take that all there has been a crack in it it looks like it’s a long time ago. It’s not broken or or anything like that it wouldn’t could you put some nails in it or somebody put a nail in it and just feel like cracking it’s on the backside. There are some stress tracks on the front? This is an older piece. It will need some loving, but you could easily paint it or refinish it.
