The company was called Creative Merchandisers. A lot of what I am selling is 1960s and 1970s original concept art.......most of which is for items that were never made. This is typical of a company like this---they might pitch 100 things and only sell 25 of them to the major companies. So you will need to satisfy yourself as to whether the item shown on the art was actually made.......sometimes I just don't know. Also most (NOT all) of the art either has a CM label or a rubber stamp ---or both. Some have neither. If it matters to you ask BEFORE buying but NOTE--the latter photos are shown as EXAMPLES of these labels and rubber stamps simply to establish origin and legitimacy of the source. I actually have some of the actual premiums still MIP up on EBAY right now. So there was a large amount of material related to these premiums. Some of it IS original art but also there is a lot of mechanical art, meaning working COPIES of the original art that is machine made (as opposed to hand drawn). This process is an early version of a Xerox copy and it is usually on a thick glossy thermal type paper. So when I refer to mechanical art....it is a COPY, not an original. ITEMS: original art for the final design of the KLUNK Kelloggs Wacky Races plane; astounding detail done in pencil or charcoal; very high level quality artwork; gorgeous and worthy of framing! All are marked on the back "P 6/85"...no idea what it means. These do NOT have markings for Creative Merchandising NOTE--I am offering the complete set of 4 original art for the 4 different planes (Dastardly,Muttley,Klunk,Zilly) in 4 separate listings. KLUNK--says "revised job #1504 SIZE: 12 x 19 inches ...... means size of the BOARD, not the art image itself.
