Description: Waltham P.S. Bartlett Model 1883 18 Size Coin Open Face Pocket Watch ca. 1888. This antique Waltham grade PS Bartlett, model 1883, 15 jewel, 18 size, open face pocket watch has a heavy coin silver case measuring approximately 57mm in diameter x 3 1/4 inches long including bow. The case has an engraved case back featuring a bird, a draped cloth, flowers and foliage. The case has a high patina that comes with age and is in overall great antique condition. The front back and dust cover hinges all open, close and secure properly. The white enamel dial has black Roman numerals, blue light spade hands, a single sunk seconds register at six o'clock and is marked "Am.Watch Co. Waltham". This dial is in great condition with no hairlines or chipping. The thick glass crystal is in good condition. The inside back cover is stamped "Dueber - Coin - 2139115". The inside dust cover is stamped "3 - 2139115". The gilt movement is stamped "P.S. Bartlett - Waltham, Mass. - 3764854". All screws and jewels appear to be in good condition. Stem wind and set. The stem unfortunately resets the time even in the wind position, and the hands to not move properly. Priced accordingly. This watch is running. No guarantee of future performance.
