Waltham Seaside grade marriage watch. Gorgeous

Description: This is a great pocket watch from American Watch Company size 6s with 15 jewels that has been converted into a wristwatch. The watch is from 1902 and has been cased into a 40 mm stainless steel and yellow gold wristwatch. American Waltham watches are known for their beautiful dials and movements. Notice how this watch has a beautifully decorated movement that is exposed through the back cover with a glass window. The hands and screws inside the movement are dark heat blued which makes this watch even more noticeable. The watch has a size like a Rolex Submariner and can be wound like a regular wristwatch and be water resistant. The Waltham name is located on the dial and inside the movement. There are 2 scuff marks on the back from an opening tool that scratched the back (at 4 and 10 o'clock positions). It's not very noticeable, but please check the image of the back. The watch is fully serviced and works perfectly and keeps time great. A full service means that the watch has been completely disassembled, cleaned and reassembled, and lubricated. The watch was serviced in May 2022.You can use the crown to set the time and wind it up just like most other mechanical watches. If the crown is pushed in, the watch will wind, if pulled slightly out (do not use force), the watch will set the time. The second hand cannot be set.This Waltham watch is entirely mechanical without any self-winding mechanism. You will need to wind up the watch daily to keep It running. Do not wind it up completely as this could break the main spring inside the watch. The dial is enamel and is in mint condition. Notice that the Waltham name is missing a tiny part of the W. The case, crown, and watch band are new and not from Waltham.Be careful not to use force when opening the back cover.
