Description: "Every piece of Waterford captures light. Some even provide it." An absolutely stunning and rare pair of vintage Waterford Crystal Brass and Cut Crystal Araglin Table Lamps. The body of the lamps are blown, hand-cut Waterford crystal with glistening diamond and vertical wedge cuts that sit on a gorgeous tiered polished brass base. The lamps measure approximately 24 3/4 inches tall from the polished brass bases to the top of the original polished brass ball finials, with the crystal bodies themselves measuring approximately 9 inches. The lamps are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or scratches to the crystal. The polished brass fittings are also in excellent condition with some very minor and insignificant marks. Please review all photos carefully to attest to the beautiful condition of these well-cared for lamps. The lamps have a three way switch with a 6 foot cord and are both in perfect working order. Due to the size harp and shade Waterford used for the lamps, a 3-way bulb barely fits in the sockets but with some manipulation it ultimately does. A regular size light bulb however fits perfectly. The lamps comes with their original white Waterford Bell Shades which measures approximately 10 1/2 inches tall, with a top diameter of 5 inches and a bottom diameter of 15 inches. The shades are also in excellent condition, with a couple of very minor, barely noticeable, marks. These gorgeous table lamps were in Ireland, date to the 1990’s, and are both acid-etched with the Waterford Seahorse mark at the bottom of the lamp bases (pic 24). One shade still retains its Waterford label at the inside top, and both shades are incised Waterford in the metal spider fitter that attaches to the harp with the finials. The lamps, along with all others in their Crystal Lighting Collection, have sadly been retired, according to the Waterford website. It is unfortunately doubtful if Waterford will ever resume production of their stunning chandeliers, lamps and other lighting fixtures which is truly heartbreaking for Waterford collectors.
