The Western Skinner pattern also has multiple options for handle treatment, including (3) .156 inch diameter holes for the (included) stainless steel pinstock. This knife also offers (2) .250 inch handle holes and (1) .250 inch thong hole for those builders who wish to explore additional handle treatments. This version is the combo kit. It comes with the Western Skinner blade, semi-radiused bolsters, matching bolster pins and .156 inch stainless steel handle pinstock. The Western Skinner blade is made with AUS8 stainless steel (RC 56-58). It is hollow-ground and satin finished. It comes standard with 416 stainless steel semi-radiused bolsters with matching assembly pins. This is an excellent design for a dress or working skinner. It is also relatively easy to build and is a fun project to complete.
