Description: This beautifully simple and elegant white Ironstone pitcher complements various decorating styles. The bottom is marked 'ROYAL STONE CHINA - WEDGWOOD & Co' beneath the Royal Arms. This particular mark was used between 1860 and 1890. The pitcher stands 8" tall and has a capacity of 2 quarts (8 cups). It is in excellent antique condition with no chips, cracks, or crazing. The only imperfection worth noting is a small area on the base where a bit of the glaze is missing (as shown in the picture). I believe this to be a manufacturing flaw rather than a chip.
