Whiting and Davis Gold Cuff Bracelet and Matching Mesh Purse original boxes

Description: A rare find! Vintage Whiting and Davis gold tone mesh cuff bracelet with a matching mesh clutch purse / evening bag. Both come with their original boxes. I have some provenance on these, as I spoke with the woman who owned them. She purchased these as a set in the 1980s while preparing for a state dinner during the Regan Administration. (It is worth noting that this is not the bag she used for that event, but these were purchased during that time period.) The evening bag has a zipper closure which still works smoothly. It has a Whiting and Davis logo tag, and it is lined with a Whiting and Davis logo throughout, which looks very clean. The cuff bracelet does not bear a signature, I assume because it was part of a set and may have only had a hang tag which was removed. However, it does come with its original box and interior marked bag, the purse also comes with its original box which is marked with a tag that reads "225 Gold". Very Good pre-owned condition, I see no issues with the bag, a slight plate scratch on the end of the bracelet. The boxes show wear, not surprising since they are estimated to be more than 40 years old. Please see pictures and video for details and condition as they are part of the description.
