Description: For sale is a resin Diedre & Her Lover figurine with bronze exterior by Wild Good Studios. Inspired by a carving on an Irish High Cross of Castledermot, this piece features Diedre & Her Lover (Gráinne & Diarmuid) in an embrace and sharing a kiss. A contemporary version of the legendary love story is Snowwhite. The self-standing figure is finished in bronze, cold cast over a solid resin core. Wild Goose Studios describes the finished piece as a pure metal shell backed by resin: the process uses metal powders to create the exterior with a resin filling. This pieces is in good condition no damage and some oxidization. Significantly, there are three spots on and aroudn the face (photograph 12). There are a few additional spots of minor oxidization.
