Description: Dating to the late 1930's, from his first design period, this William Spratling ring features a large amethyst cabochon flanked on each side by five silver beads. The amethyst stone measures 19mm in diameter. The ring is a size 7. Weight is 12.5 grams. Weight is 13 grams. Signed and hallmarked with the WS print later mark, Taxco, and 980. There is a small space between the "TA" and "XCO", where the ring was professionally sized. In excellent vintage condition.
