This popular novelist was of no relationship to the British Statesman. Light wear and fading to the upper spine edge, a tiny surface nick to the shelf-edge of the upper rear cover, else very good in red linen with black embossed titles to the front cover, and to the spine which is also adorned with a decorative illustration in black; in a good to very good dust jacket with spotting and tanning to the spine panel, chips to the upper and lower spine ends and corners, and with general minor staining.
