Description: Wonderful Arts & Craft movement bookends...Galley Slaves-printed on back...You can feel the back braking labor of these slaves from the simple yet elegant design...I think they are cast iron with a copper plating...they are magnetic (iron), have this great dimpling on the back (cast) and have the copper color as well as some green aging...There was some felt on the bottom...I lifted up the felt and underneath is the copper color as well...I left these exactly as found so they could use a cleaning...there is also some discoloration on the inside (see photos)...I think they were plated there so that the iron get some rusting over the years...They are very heavy.4.5" tall x 5.25" x 2" deep (just one,not both).If shipping is a lot less than estimated, I will refund...sometimes flat rates work better...
