Description: William Wordsworth ~ Poetical Works British Poet, mid 19th Century Note #1: This is a vintage (tho not necessarily antiquarian) book. The works within have stood the test of time - not just the words but the actual paper & covers too. Book is conservatively rated as 'Very Good'. Not a mint/collectors copy, more like a display copy, but still sturdy enough to be held & read. Not ex-library. Any/all flaws are noted in the 'Condition' section. While some tomes of this era may have that old book smell there is no mildew/dank smell to this one, or any others i sell. Note #2:Fair price for older book in really nice shape. The stamped cover/spine illustration is worth it alone! This one is very much a copy meant for display, not hidden away on book shelf. NOT shipped in a bubble envelope -- we use boxes only for all mailings. All books are mildly wiped down and dusted clean via air duster. All are from a smoke free // pet free home. All are just dying for a new home and to be read again! Feel free to write with any questions, concerns or for more pics. I answer promptly. 1880 First Edition (presumed) Hardcover Published by Belford, Clarke & Co Condition: 'Very Good'Covers look beautiful! Previous owners obviously took care with this one. Corners are lightly bumped, spine edges are lightly frayed. Stamped illustration & titles are distinct, with details very sharp & bright. Very little sun-fade, if any at all. Black & gold coloring is like the day it was issued. Inside hinges are not torn or loose. Spine is solid/sturdy.Interior is very clean, just a small gift inscription in pencil, on the inside front cover, and another small name penciled in on the second blank page. No other writing/marking/highlighting within. Just the slightest hint of sun-fade to the page edges. Outside all gilt-edged. No dust jacket. ************************* * Free bonus to the buyer of this book: Any single issue of Poetry magazine you see in the last pic.
