Description: This was recently discovered tucked away in a cabinet. It is the Sony portable cassette radio model CFM-101. This was from the line of outdoor audio devices that Sony made in the late 80's early 90's. It was the perfect radio to take to the beach. This one is in pretty good condition. It has light wear to all the plastic parts that is visible under bright light. It is really pretty clean. There are some tiny paint spots on the black plastic on the top. The rubber tip of the function button is missing, but all the rubber port covers are there. The battery compartment is exeptionally clean. The only other little flaw is that the plastic that holds the antenna down is broken (see picture). This takes 4 C size batteries and everything functions as it should. It is like a blast from the past listening to a cassette tape in it. I am sure there is someone out there that would appreciate this great piece of technology for a by gone year.
