Description: WW1 Original, vintage Austria-Hungary, Imperial Field Cap Badge (Kappenabzeichen) made by Gurschner of Vienna. A round metal badge in brass finish. Obverse displays the portrait of Franz Joseph within a recessed border, above is the inscription ‘1914-WELTKRIEG-1915’ (World War 1914-1915), with heraldic shields beside portrait; below is the inscription ‘BOSNIEN HERCEGOVINA DALMATIEN 1916’ (BOSNIA HERZEGOVINA DALMATIA 1916). Reverse has a horizontal pinback, maker marked ATELIER G.GURSCHNER WIEN VII/2 LINDENGASSE 9. It is 31 mm in diameter, and in excellent condition.
