Description: A very nicely framed example of a World War One British Home Front Overseas Club Fund-raising Certificate Dated 1915 The Overseas Club in London, raising monies to send home comforts & presents to the troops fighting at the Front in the second year of The Great War sent out certificates of appreciation to the many young schoolchildren who enthusiastically helped with the nation's fund-raising programme. Issued to a Nellie Henson, this very attractive certificate was carefully mounted in a frame measuring approx 9.5" x 8" and remains in a very good condition all these years on for having been so protected.
