Description: Original WW2 OPERATION TORCH map entitled "MEDEA" (ALGERIA) North African Campaign "MEDEA" lies 25 miles inland to the South West of ALGIERS, the main focus of 'Eastern Task Force'. This force was one of the three main Battle Groups that landed on the opening day of Operation Torch. It was printed in September 1942 for the forthcoming mission and contains a key of 'road classification' information gathered from intelligence reports.
