The Brannik organization was designed as a copy of the similar German scout organizations. It existed between 1941 and 1945 while Kingdom Bulgaria was a key German Ally. All Brannik related items were destroyed after 1945 by the communist regime. Owning a Brannik related piece was reason enough to be thrown into prison or sent to a labor camp.
