The sling has the both leather keepers. It has the correct brass hooks. The leather is soft and supple. There is some wrinkling and minor surface cracks in the leather. There are no visible markings or dates on the sling. Please see photos for details and condition. This will make a great display sling on your WWI Vintage US Rifle. NOTE: this sling is being sold as a collector display sling and is not intended for actual usage. Vintage leather slings that are 105+ years old will not be as strong as they were when they are new.
