This is a metal scabbard with a ball tip. It has the loop to attach the bayonet frog. Blue finish, that is thinning with some discoloration spots. No rust. Some surface pitting. No major dents, a few dings. This scabbard will fit most WWII Vintage Japanese Type 30 Bayonets. Very Hard to find Original Japanese Bayonet Scabbards on the loose.
