Description: This auction is for the following autographed 4x6 photograph: BIO: Morris Magnuson WWII 23rd Fighter Squadron 36th Fighter Group 9th Air Force P-47 Thunderbolt Pilot on escort, dive bombing, strafing missions. Completed 79 missions. On his 80th mission was shot down in enemy territory parachuting out of his P-47. Spent the next six days making the 100 mile march to Remagen Bridge evading the Germans but was captured by a German patrol taken as a POW in Stalag 7A. DFC, Purple Heart, Air Medal. THIS IS AN AUTHENTIC HAND AUTOGRAPHED 4x6 PHOTOGRAPH. I ONLY SELL AUTHENTIC HAND AUTOGRAPHED MEMORABILIA.
