Description: This item is from a WWII vet. This appears to be a theater made bag. The material is made of herringbone twill----probably from WWII trousers or jacket of that material. The stitching appears to be made by hand. The shape of the bag is at bottom, an oval shape. The two side pieces are sewn together and to the bottom. At the top there is a sewn place where the twine is. The twine is the way of securing the top. Inside is a piece of tan material that goes from the bottom inside that comes up about 6 inches. That basically makes a divider inside the pouch. On one side of the pouch - one seam at the top has about 3 inches where the seam has split. Height of the bag is 10 inches and width about 7.5 inches. Not sure if this is something the fellow made for himself or if these were made for Personal Effects of injured / deceased. I only ship to a US address.
