Description: This is for an Old Rare 1885 Philadelphia Mint ANACS Cameo P L $ MS 64 Morgan Silver Dollar. Please see the scans for details and condition. This is one of 20 coins in a roll all of the same date, 1885, that came in some time ago. In cleaning up I recently found that I still had them. I bought them back then as a roll of 20 from a hoarder who was unloading his hoard and had had them also for some time. I sent them all as a lot of 20 into ANACS to be graded and all 20 came back P L or Cameo and many are MS 64. That means that this roll of 20 has been around as as roll for many years. The hoarder is not with us anymore so I cannot ask him about his experience but a roll of all P L is both odd now and even much more odd back then and also about where and when did he get them back then. So could the trail go back to 1885 when they were minted and so did someone do some picking a century and a third ago. If so this roll is not only rare but also historically rare. The coin in the scans is the actual coin you will receive.
