Description: x59g #4 These displays are beautiful! This is a great little glass dome display showcasing a rare find of a Pachucoris Fabracii! It is done in the fashion of the Victorian Era using only natural items. This style enhances the beauty of the subject and presents it in a natural surrounding with all natural elements. It is surrounded by real dried foliage, bark, flowers, moss, etc. and lichen with a real snail and ladybug. This would make a great learning/teaching tool, and fit into any collection! These are great gifts and wonderful little displays! Overall, this display is approximately 3 1/2 x 2 1/2". Species and fun facts- Stola's lebasiiFairly small (5-7 millimetres), broadly oval, flat, shiny, usually black with yellow or red markings, leaf beetles , often with some metallic sheen. The head is quite small, but clearly visible from above, the antennae relatively short. The body shape is oval. Pronotum much wider than long, rounded, coverts rounded and domed without rows of dots. The legs are quite short. Some have a raised bump at the front of the tire wings. NOTE: If your item is in a glass dome please be aware that the domes are NOT permanently connected to the base. Care has to be taken when opening or removing the dome so not to damage the display or specimen. If you are purchasing one of my Victorian displays and are familiar with Antique Victorian displays, you are aware of that they have usually fallen into disarray and disintegrated to the point that they no longer show well. My displays mimic the antique look without everything being washed out and tattered due to extreme age. The post office does now require you to bring the item in for inspection to receive postal insurance payouts.
