Now I can use my wired earbuds and the chest mount is in a fixed position so no more cord to tangle up between my ears and the detector and no more setting the detector shaft down and ripping the earbuds from my ears. You say well I have the wireless Deus 2 headphones what would I need the chest mount for? Well its made for you to! The black pixel screen is both small and hard to see with sun on it at an angle. I switched the option within the WS6 to make the TID numbers larger but then lose the ferrous bars and it still is difficult to see in the sun and with bad vision it just looks all black. So with the chest mount you can move the WS6 to a straight on view up close. This allows me to leave the full screen with all the info displayed. I can see everything with ease even in the sun. Also for ALL users weather your wireless or wired the chest mount moves the WS6 up higher away from the water if you are a beach or water hunter. This will allow you to go deeper keeping the WS6 up high and safe from water as its not waterproof. You will be thrilled with the chest mount! I will cover the list of problems the chest mount solves. 1. Moves the WS6 up close so you can see the screen. I struggled to see the screen and I tried making the TID numbers bigger but in the sun and with bigger numbers you cannot see the ferrous non ferrous bars. In bright sun at an angle the screen looks like all black pixels. 2. I did not opt to purchase the Deus 2 optional headphones. So I tried to use a set of wired ear buds. With the Ws6 shaft mounted I kept yanking the earbuds out of my ears! So I tried to use the XP Deus WS6 wrist mount only to figure out very fast the wrist mount is hard to use. I cannot press and hold the button and pump the coil for ground balancing and I find it awkward trying to look at the WS6 on the wrist mount. I swing with my left and that's the arm I tried the wrist mount on. That makes it tough to view it while swinging the detector. My right hand is carrying my shovel. Felt weird putting the wrist mount on that side and still hard to view the screen. For me the wrist mount was NOT solving my issues. 3. Ws6 is not water proof. If you hunt the beach or lake shorelines you can chest mount the WS6 and you can freely go waste deep with the WS6 mounted up high on your chest. When storing the chest mount the arms fold down flat with the main section. This makes it easy to put in a backpack and also was a factor in designing to get it shipped at the best possible rate for the customer. With those top issues in mind I have designed and 3d printed the answer. Simple easy to use chest mount. Not large and in your way. Light weight and fully adjustable for height. Simply adjust the included neck strap for the distance you want the WS6 to sit in front of you. Most likely this position will be set by your vision. Then the included clothing clip clips to your shirt. This keeps the chest mount from swinging out when you bend over to dig or pick up a target. You say I hunt the beach and don't have a shirt on sometimes to clip to? No problem! There is two addition holes designed into the main mount on each side. This would be where you could do a simple strap or parachute rope that can go around your upper torso. Tied or clipped to the 2 provided holes. Now it's kept at your chest if you happen to be shirtless. The chest mount is exactly the answer I was looking for to use with my new Deus 2 WS6 Master metal detector. I was very happy my first trip out with my new chest mount. I know others would benefit greatly from this as well. Included in the chest mount you get: 1. 3d printed chest mount with two arms. 2. One spare arm just in case you somehow break one. You have an extra included. 3. FIEIL brand Nylon neck strap. This is a nice neck strap that is soft and has quick release buckles on both sides. It includes a handy little green hook tool to reach through the eyelet and pull the nylon rope through to attach the buckles. 4. Arms are attached at the hinge points with stainless hardware. 5. Clothing clip already attached to the main body of the mount. WS6 module seen in pics IS NOT INCLUDED> WS6 module is shown in pictures to show function and fitment and again is not included.
