It's in new condition, just in its open box, as seen in the photos. I have 2 of these available right now, both new with their box. The box with the most storage wear is shown in the photos. THIS IS A NEW OLD STOCK PEDAL THAT WAS MADE IN JAPAN, NOT CHINA. This is a very solid pedal, mostly metal and sturdy enough for any type of use and is of excellent quality. It has rubber surfaces on the top and bottom, to prevent slipping while in use. For those electronic keyboards with an input jack labeled "SUSTAIN," the FC5 model is used in the same manner the sustain pedal on an acoustic piano is used. After pressing down a key, the note will continue to sound utilizing the technology of the FC5 until the sustain pedal is released. The FC5 can also be utilized as an FS controller in synthesizers, tone modules and drum machines.
