Description: I made this set of side plates several years ago. Somewhere out there is another set identical that was sold on eBay a few years back. These are for when you have no tank plastics. The old weathered tank plastics were thin and deteriorating to the point they were brittle. If you have ever owned one of these machines, you probably know what I mean. So, I designed these covers and actually look pretty decent. They will work on all Yamaha YTM 225 models. They are not designed to cover the old tank plastics. They mount to the rear fender plastics under the gas tank and help support the gas tank. Slight modifications are required for mounting. 1/4" drill bit needed. The paint matches close to the original blue plastics and can be painted yellow or whatever color you like. Thanks for your time, and please check out my other items of interest.
